STRUCTURE OF THIS BOOK
Each Unit consists of:
● Section A: Reading: Main text followed by Comprehension Questions in multiple choice format, and sometimes
2 pages by Matching-the-Headings exercises. Relevant vocabulary-building exercises follow.
Grammar: Brief Grammar theory notes and tables, followed by many exercises that help students practise
2 pages each grammatical topic. Grammar Review exercises at the last 3 units.
● Section B: Vocabulary: Collocations, Word Building exercises, Structure, Derivatives, Antonyms, Phrasal Verbs and
3 pages various Phrases & Expressions.
● Section C: Listening: Pre-listening Activities, Listening Development exercises and FCE Listening Exam Practice.
